MSP review, selection, and transition
We grade your current MSP against a written scorecard and decide with you whether to renegotiate or replace. If you replace, we run the selection and manage the transition. We are independent: we do not sell managed services and take no fee from any MSP, so the recommendation is about fit, not margin.
Who it is for
Who is it for?
- Companies whose MSP contract renews in the next six months
- Firms where nobody inside can tell whether the MSP is doing a good job
- Companies that outgrew their MSP after growth, a new office, or an acquisition

- If replacingRequirements, a request for proposal sized to your company, a shortlist of three, reference calls, and scored proposals

The process
How does it work?
- 1
Weeks 1 to 2
Score the current MSP
Contract, tickets, documentation, and a test restore, compared with what you pay for.
- 2
Week 2
Decide
Renegotiate or replace, in writing, with the reasons.
- 3
Weeks 3 to 6, if replacing
Select
Shortlist, references, scored proposals, and contract terms.
- 4
Cutover, then 90 days
Transition and check
A managed cutover with an overlap month, then the new provider scored on the same card.
Price
What does it cost?
$7,500 to $12,000
A fixed fee inside the range, set by the number of sites and users and whether a transition is needed. A review that ends in renegotiation sits at the low end.
An engagement letter is signed before any work starts.
Scope
What is not included?
- Day-to-day IT support. We never become your MSP.
- Referral or placement fees from any provider. You are the only one who pays us.
Questions
Questions buyers ask
How do I know if my MSP is doing a good job?
Ask three questions in writing: what is in scope and what is not, what they would need from you to meet the restore time you want, and what they would change if the contract were signed fresh today. The answers, and how long they take to arrive, tell you most of it.
Should we replace our MSP or renegotiate?
Often renegotiate. Many MSP problems are a scope that no longer matches the business, which a new contract fixes without the cost of a transition. The scorecard makes that call on evidence instead of frustration.
How long does an MSP transition take?
The transition plan sets it, with an overlap month built in so nothing drops between the outgoing and incoming providers.
Do you get paid by the MSP we choose?
No. No referral fees, no resale margin, and no commission. If we recommend switching, we make nothing either way.

Is this the right fit?
Thirty minutes on the phone settles it. If it is not the right fit, we will say so.
